Hair: Racoon Artistic Team
The Vintage Collection is the result of the handiwork of a dozen gifted hairdressers who make up our artistic team (the RAT Pack). They’ve had their heads together for months, planning images to show the hugely desirable style-transforming qualities of hair extensions.
A collection of editorial looks inspired by the theme Fashion Circus. Referencing different carnival characters, the team worked together to create striking imagery, taking the reader on a journey around the big top.
GIRL NEXT DOOR with Andrew Barton
Just to show how easy it is for every girl-next-door to look fashionably glam, our search for the Face of Racoon 2010 competition led us irresistibly to these four fabulous girls.
Media darling Andrew Barton from hit TV show 10 Years Younger transformed their hair into these amazingly natural looking, glossy, healthy looking everyday styles.
COUTURE with Guy Kremer
To demonstrate that beautiful long hair can be created very quickly, international celebrity hairdresser Guy Kremer used Micro Wefts to create this bridal collection.
The Wefts fall very naturally, an adhesive strip ensuring a flat finish and no unsightly bumps and ridges. They can be styled just like natural hair and are ideal for creating volume and thickness, as well as colour for that special occasion.
SECRET SEDUCTION with Richard Ward
Celebrity favourite Richard Ward wanted to create a collection presenting his signature sexy, glamorous, wearable hair, while showing the flexibility and seamless blending of hair extensions at the same time. As Richard’s beautiful styles show, Racoon bonded extensions and Micro Wefts offer styling versatility in a class apart.
STYLISH BEYOND with Hairdressers Journal International
This truly stunning trio of shots are the outstanding result of an exciting creative collaboration between Racoon International’s Art Team and three of the company’s hairdressing icons – Nick Malenko, Errol Douglas and Robert Eaton.
Racoon’s Creative Director Stephen Messias led the dynamic fusion, directing the team to broaden the outlook of hairdressers by showing just what can be achieved with the imaginative and clever use of hair extensions. The collection was published in top trade weekly, Hairdressers Journal.
PURE FUSION with Errol Douglas
Award-winning London hairdresser Errol Douglas wanted to blur the boundaries between perception and reality in this collection. An intricate fusion of extension and natural hair combines with a mix of masculinity and femininity to give this collection an androgynous edge.
Its ambiguity makes you question whether this is extension work at all! Racoon’s innovative application, combined with Errol’s creative vision, has truly broken the mould.
MOD AND MILITARY with the Racoon Art Team and the Fellowship F.A.M.E. Team
This collection shows how modern, sharp haircuts can be vamped-up into exciting fresh-faced images, simply adding texture and slices of vibrant colour.
INNOCENT CHIC with Beverly C
To highlight how very easy it is to make an already fashionable haircut even more interesting, award-winning Beverly C added soft, feminine, natural tones to models’ existing styles. Beverly’s handiwork also shows how you can adapt a look with extensions, simply by adding asymmetric lengths or different fringe detail.
MORE THAN NATURAL with Anthony Mascolo
To quash a common misconception that hair extensions are used to just add length, this collection shows how hair extensions can add volume, colour and texture too. Creative hairdresser Anthony Mascolo (of Bedhead fame) then dressed and finished the extended looks using a mix of styling techniques and products for fab and fashionable style appeal.
