The Process
- Preparation:
Nikki started by washing Sherin’s hair with Racoon Xtend Detox Shampoo to remove any buildup and conditioned her ends with Xtend Everyday Conditioner. She then blow-dried Sherin’s hair into her usual style, which featured a side parting. - Application:
- Nikki selected two complementary shades of Luxe Links and a length of 14 inches, keeping the extensions natural and close to Sherin’s current length.
- She sectioned Sherin’s hair with precision, starting at the nape and working up to the ears, then moving to the sides.
- Using Racoon’s pre-loaded beads, Nikki applied the Luxe Link extensions quickly and efficiently, alternating shades to blend seamlessly. Lighter tones were concentrated around the front to achieve the balayage effect.
- Blending:
- After securing the extensions, Nikki smoothed and straightened Sherin’s hair to ensure a seamless blend.
- She finished the look by adding soft waves, demonstrating an easy, versatile style Sherin could recreate at home.
The Result
Sherin left with a head-turning transformation:
- Fuller, thicker hair with natural movement and body.
