All our applications are completely unique to Racoon, whilst you may be familiar with similar products on the market, we at Racoon want to ensure you are fully confident in using out products to offer the best possible service for your salon guests.

In order to train in Racoon Hair Extensions application you will need to have a minimum requirement of NVQ Level 2 Hairdressing or equivalent.

Most of our training is available both at our Racoon International Academy near Banbury or can be carried out in your salon.  Some of the training is also available to do on -line.  Once you know which methods you wish to train in our Education team will set up the most suitable training.

Yes, all hair extensions vary in their application and in order to guarantee that you are giving your clients the very best service and for us to include you in our Certified Racoon Salon register we would require you to train specifically in our methods.

All of our hair is of premium quality and ethically sourced from trusted suppliers that we have been working with for over 30 years.

All our hair is collected through the act of ’tonsuring’ which is donation. By collecting hair this way, it ensures the best quality – but also the reliability of the supply chain, ensuring that you will work with the finest quality time after time.

Racoon Luxe Hair Extensions are scientifically proven not to damage the hair fibre when fitted and removed by a Racoon Certified Extensionist. They are endorsed by a leading Trichologist.

Once you have decided to train in Racoon Luxe Hair extensions we will ensure that you and any of your team who you require are fully trained in the system and explain the equipment that you will require.  You will be assigned a dedicated Account Manager who will be on hand to look after your needs.  We supply you with  marketing materials / images / social media assets to get you started and access to our salon finder on our website.

Our comprehensive training programmes offer advice on marketing your extensions business, including how to price initial and follow up appointments.

We also offer on-going CPD training to advance your skills in working with hair extensions – including advanced cutting and hair up courses, and more specialist courses like Hair in Recovery for treating clients with medical hair loss.

We are also very happy to see and re-post any of your Racoon Luxe Hair extension transformations on our social pages.

On the training courses we go through our recommended structure for pricing to ensure that you are charging adequately for your time and also for the cost of the hair.  Each salon will have it’s own specific pricing for your time, dependant on your other pricing, but the costs of the hair will be the same.

Presently we do not offer on-line purchasing of our hair for professionals, but you can order very quickly over the phone or via our WhatsApp instant message service, or email us with your requirements.

Our Xtend Haircare products have been specifically formulated to ensure all attachments remain strong and that the hair itself remains in the optimum condition throughout the time your client is  wearing it.  Our hair extensions are only guaranteed when your client is using the Racoon Xtend Haircare range as some other shampoos, conditioners, sprays etc may contain ingredients that affect the bonds, for example alcohol or sulphates meaning that your client’s hair extensions will not last as well or stay in optimum condition.

Our hair extensions are a natural product, and as such need to be treated with care. Using the correct aftercare and recommended heat temperatures lots of customers have enjoyed the same set of extensions for up to 12 months!

Yes absolutely, using professional products you can tint our extensions with a maximum of 6% / 20 volume developer. Neither high-lift tint or bleach products should be used as this will damage the extensions.
